WHEN I HEARD LINDISFARNE'S FIRST ALBUM, Nicely Out Of Tune, with its standout track, 'Lady Eleanor', a year and a half ago, I thought that their firm, rock-influenced rhythm section overlaid by folk-blues guitars and mandolins, and surprising multilevel vocal harmonies, applied to songs of genuine insight and good feeling, promised that they could become a group of great interest.
