Quintessence: Peace... Love... And Success Without Sell-Out

Tony Stewart, New Musical Express, 20 November 1971

FOR QUINTESSENCE, 1971 must go down as one of the most successful years in their history – they have been going through a period of constant evolvement and development, spreading their message of peace and love, without pretentiousness, but with strong music which is constantly changing and finding new directions. And for eight hours a day, four or five days a week, they have been rehearsing and working at their musical style – certainly original – and exploring it further.
