THEY CAME down the stairs on to the stage to screams from the sardined crowd and whistles from the majority male contingent, despite the rejection of tight Vampirella costumes for new Jean Junction casualness — Joan Jett looking almost innocent in dungarees, Lita Ford less menacing in jeans, t-shirt, etc. — arms open even to new member Laurie McAllister. So it should have been another burning performance. It wasn't. Sad to say, it hardly even smouldered.
