UP UNTIL now the idea of Samson has appealed to me much more than the actual music. I mean, this a band whose drummer dresses up in an off-the-shoulder leopardskin leotard and Cambridge rapist mask and goes by the name of Thunderstick, whose vocalist is called Bruce Bruce, whose stage show is a veritable holocaust of special FX, from smoke bombs through dry ice to confetti and how could I resist them?
