JUNE TYSON WASN'T just a collaborator with Sun Ra for 25 years, she was an integral Afrofuturist presence in The Arkestra, the only woman in the band (the Saturnian Queen to Ra's King) and also a costume designer, choreographer, singer and violinist who worked on all aspects of The Arkestra's live shows.
