Jane's Addiction: Nightmare On Hell Street

Ted Mico, Melody Maker, 25 August 1990

Jane's Addiction have had a troubled year. Their mammoth Nothing's Shocking tour nearly killed them and left them strung-out and wasted. Then their manager sued them over their alleged drug problems. They've been fighting with their record company over the outrageous sleeve they designed for the cover of their much-delayed third album, Ritual De Lo Habitual. Now the LP's release is imminent and the band are on their way to Reading threatening even more mayhem and carnage. TED MICO met lead singer Perry Farrell in Los Angeles.
