Ted Mico

Ted Mico is a freelance writer who was features editor at Melody Maker and has written about music and culture for The Guardian, Spin, Raygun, Forbes, Huffington Post and others. He’s interviewed U2, The Cure, New Order, Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Bowie, Cocteau Twins, Nine Inch Nails, Beastie Boys, Soundgarden, the Pixies, Echo & the Bunnymen, Nico, Jane’s Addiction, the Breeders, Ice-T and over one hundred other artists. He was later head of programming at Launch Media (which was acquired by Yahoo and became Yahoo Music) and now lives in Venice, California, where he publishes poetry and takes his dog Larkin for long walks on the beach.
