Jackson Browne: Late For The Sky (Asylum 7E-107)

Jonathan Morrish, Let It Rock, December 1974

WAY BACK in 1969, the late Lillian Roxon was perceptive enough to spot Jackson Browne's talents and wrote in her encyclopaedia, "...and it's clear that when he does happen, when he's good and ready, the wait will have been worth it". Although only just twenty at the time, he had already convinced those who knew him and with whom he had played — the legendary Nico, Steve Noonan and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band that he was destined for higher things. Bear in mind, too, that he was only sixteen when he wrote 'These Days'.
