Jonathan Morrish

After graduating from Kent University in 1973, Jonathan's first piece was published in Let It Rock in January 1974 at the time that the magazine’s Rock Writer’s Co-Operative was being established. He wrote for them and other magazines including ZigZag, Trouser Press, Sounds, Music Week amongst others and the London Magazine. He became the house writer for CBS Records (now Sony Music) in 1975 and the following year where he worked with a whole range of the company’s artists including amongst many, Michael Jackson, Wham!/George Michael, Sade, Meatloaf, ABBA, the Beach Boys, Billy Joel, Philip Glass, Howard Blake OBE and many others. Jonathan currently consults for PPL and PRS for Music.
