NEW YORK — When the Specials broke up, the group split into two camps. Jerry Dammers, the gap-toothed keyboardist who was usually considered the mastermind behind the group, has carried on under the name Special AKA, releasing a daring song about rape called 'The Boiler'. The old Specials front line, singers Terry Hall and Neville Staples and guitarist Lynval Goulding, regrouped as the Fun Boy Three.
