WHEN BIG STAR released their first record in 1972, it might have seemed that they were behind the times. Like Badfinger and the Raspberries, they dared to play Beatle-esque pop music in the early 70s. With hindsight, it looks more like they were ahead of their time, anticipating the Power Pop genre by several years.
