Danny Gatton

Richard Harrington, Unicorn Times, September 1974

SOMEWHERE ALONG the line, guitarist Danny Gatton played in a group called Fat Chance. That name may have been appropriate for the gentle portliness of Gatton and the less gentle portliness of the other two members of the band, but it was singularly inappropriate to describe his future potential in the world of music. It's been a slow and steady process, but it shouldn't be long before a whole lot of people know about this just-turned 29 guitar player from Camp Springs, Md.
