Beck, Bogert and Appice

Charles Shaar Murray, New Musical Express, 31 March 1973

THE BECK, BOGERT and Appice album is completed and virtually upon us, and it leads us to two inescapable conclusions. The first is simple: man for man, there hasn't been a finer three-instrument band since the Cream – and I'll even throw in the Zep and the Experience for good measure (mainly because Redding and Mitchell were no way as good as Bogert and Appice).
