Kevin Avery is the author of Everything is an Afterthought: The Life and Writings of Paul Nelson. He also edited Conversations with Clint: Paul Nelson’s Lost Interviews with Clint Eastwood, 1979–1983. He lives in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife and stepdaughter.
