HAVING HAD his thunder stolen by Rickie Lee Jones, ol' gravel voice weighs in with a timely "Greatest Hits" compilation. It's a selection from six of his seven Asylum albums, though ironically there's nothing from his debut, Closing Time, which includes probably his best known song — 'Ol' 55', which was even covered by the — gasp! — Eagles, in a rare moment of discernment.
