The Outlaws: The Hottest New Guitar Band In The Country

Ken Barnes, Phonograph Record, April 1976

IT'S A STRANGE-looking crowd at the Hollywood Palladium. Not since surfer days have there been so many wool shirts in one place, and not your trendy camp Pendleton poseurs either, but the real article. The one lone soul with the shag and the crushed velvet coat must have felt he was going to get his velvet crushed any second. It was a rowdy, vociferous crowd, not at all a typical Hollywood audience, but perhaps a typical L.A. audience (there's a difference). They were occupied in going wild for the Outlaws.
