BACK IN the days when I was a reader of this paper rather than a writer, the House Of Love were the most irksome band in these pages. "Bah, nobody's that good," I'd moan, tossing aside another double page rave. Apart from anything else it was clear that the only direction for Guy and the guys, after all this deification, was down.
