Queen: Friars Hall, Aylesbury

Pete Makowski, Sounds, 9 March 1974

IT WAS A bad night for Queen at Friars Hall, Aylesbury, last Saturday, but this was not completely their fault. For a start one of their trucks containing lighting equipment was stuck half-way down a motorway. The situation was not improved by guitarist Brian May's infected arm. At first there was a certain amount of doubt as to whether they were going to go on or not. Anyway they did and I'm beginning to wonder whether that was a wise decision.
