Pentangle: Four plus one

FOR A WHILE NOW there has been something of a quiet backlash in pop music. It started long before Crosby, Stills and Nash began charming us with their acoustic "wooden music"; in fact, if it is ever valid to credit any one person or group with something as collectively-inspired as a pop trend, the real beginning of this reaction against deafening by decibels was the coming together of the five musicians who make up the Pentangle.
