No Fun Festival: Music Hall of Williamsburg, New York City

THE SIXTH New York instalment of the No Fun Festival was probably the last one in the US for a while. "Although," advises organiser Carlos Giffoni, "anything could happen." The overheads of doing shows in New York City, combined with the ever larger amounts of money involved in securing artists, has caused Giffoni to look further afield. This month there will be a No Fun Festival at Fylkingen in Stockholm. And it may be a long time until the Noise returns home.
