HMMPH. THE Candyskins. Who would have believed it? Just over a year ago I saw them in a dingy pub in Luton. They were indie losers desperately grasping on to the past. Three months later they were in the Top 20. The world truly is a crazy place. 'Monday Morning' is dull and pointless but their simple sincerity is strangely endearing. In an even stranger kind of way, I wish them the very best of luck.
