JACK WHITE, the meticulous frontman of the color-coordinated White Stripes, has always been known for his attention to detail. So it was no surprise to see that at the new headquarters here for his company Third Man Records everything from the vintage appliances in the kitchen area to his office door (labeled "John A. White III, D.D.S. Family Dentistry") clearly bore his touch.
