Jason Mraz: Hammersmith Apollo, London

Caroline Sullivan, The Guardian, 10 April 2009

WHILE THE WORLD has been going about its business, Jason Mraz has quietly sold 3.5m copies of his Grammy-nominated 2008 album, We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things — which technically makes him a fairly big deal. Yet it's possible to be entirely unaware of either him or his calling card, the single 'I'm Yours', which has hung around the UK chart since December. His perpetually sunny, 70s-influenced soft rock isn't the kind of thing that embeds itself in the memory, even when it's being played right there in front of you in a busy Hammersmith Apollo.
