LOS ANGELES International Airport, Monday morning. Two resplendent Cadillac limousines glide out of traffic on Century Boulevard and ease to the curb in front of the United Airlines building. A matronly woman of about 55, rouge heavy on aging cheeks, turns her head to stare and narrowly avoids colliding with the baggage porter guiding his cart towards the entourage.
