David McKenna
David McKenna was born in 1978 in Bishops Stortford, which is nearly Essex. After leaving university, David spent two years in France, first in Alsace and then Paris, where he taught English, wrote for Time Out Paris and occasionally performed songs by Phil Spector, Pulp and Lambchop in cafes. Since starting to freelance in 2004 he has been published in the (very) short-lived Bullit magazine and the Guardians Friday Review. He currently runs the French-music site Rockfort.
