WHO BUT ZZ Top would use laser lights to project a crude line drawing of a woman, naked save for cowboy hat and boots, onto a gigantic screen above 14,000 fans jamming San Francisco's Cow Palace? For these Texas rockers, modern primitives that they are, such shenanigans are as integral to their act as the state-of-the-art sound equipment they use to amplify the raw three-chord blues rock they've been excelling at for two decades.
