XTC: 'Til Death Do Us Part

Like the set of a James Bond finale, the cavernous, converted power station of Metropolis Studios is all walkways, bridges and industrial lifts. At the far corner of the complex, in a tiny room lit with pin-spots and with speakers the size of Wiltshire, something quietly momentous is occurring. XTC are mastering Apple Venus (Volume One), their first album in seven years.
