Why Isn't London Jumping?

Geoffrey Cannon, Oz, December 1968

Update, 2019. My Oz episodes — 1. IN DECEMBER 1968, age 28, I was interviewed for the post of editor of Radio Times, the BBC's television and radio programme journal. To general amazement including my own, in January 1969 I was offered and accepted the job. As from 1965 I had been a "communications consultant", including work for a company created by David Frost. In 1968 I worked as a programme associate for Granada Television, together with David Dalton, Jon Cott, Jo Durden-Smith, John Sheppard and others, on rock music programmes — those transmitted were The Doors are Open and Johnny Cash at San Quentin.
