"I LIKE THE sound of a gun, Wendy O. Williams once said. "It terrifies me. It makes the experience a little more intense." The gunshot wound that killed Williams on April 6, said the state medical examiner, was self-inflicted. Her body was found in woods near her Storrs, Connecticut home by longtime partner Rod Swenson. She was 48.
