BUT LOU REED, Lou’s got real problems. Ever since he started out he’s been trying to wheedle Jehovah into making him Keith Richard (‘Rock And Roll’) and Hubert Selby Jr. (‘Street Hassle’) and Barry Mann/Cynthia Weill (‘Waiting For My Man’ is merely ‘Uptown’ fed through his warped vision) and Casablanca director, Michael Curtiz (‘Berlin’). And that’s only thinking about the pleasant side of his character.
