"NOT AS bad as expected" seemed to be the general consensus of opinion on the yet to be acknowledged supergroup, UK. This sentiment summed up my feeling to a tee. Indeed, it was 35 minutes into UK's set before the first yawn overcame me. Before discussing the surprising merits and predictable demerits of Messrs Wetton, Bruford, Holdsworth and Jobson's latest venture, however, a few words on their special guests the Fabulous Poodles.
