AS EDITOR of Blues & Soul, I have always done my personal utmost to concentrate on the musical content of our music and the artists associated with R&B music rather than cover political views of America. Right or wrong, I have always tried to steer B&S away from the political implications in Soul music in the States because I felt that they were not pertaining to British listeners of Soul music.
