The Roxy Music Story
Jonh Ingham, Sounds, 4 October 1975
THE TELEPHONE'S ringing woke him. Sleepily Flame Torso surveyed the tangle of blankets which hid the form next to him. He vaguely tried to remember her face. The telephone insisted upon his attention. He negotiated a course around the clothes and magazine strewn floor, stopping to pick up a woman's shoe. Embedded in the transparent plastic heel was an iridescent goldfish. Flame looked at the blankets with more interest. The phone still rang.
