Death has always been big business as a perverse form of entertainment. In the 18th Century, public hangings had similar pulling power to Emerson Lake and Palmer. Rock'n'roll, through the 50s and early 60's, was replete with Teenage Death Laments. So where's Coffin Rock in the 70's? Taking a particularly tacky and tasteless course, reports MICK FARREN.
