The Mock Turtles: Two Sides

AS THE MUSICAL coffers of the '60s increasingly come to resemble a stretch of what used to be the South American rain forests, a band needs at least two things to makes its re-ordering of the past even vaguely palatable: tunes, or the suss to know which ones to steal, and rampant self-confidence. Luckily, The Mock Turtles are the vehicle for one Martin Coogan, an obsessive pop nutter with no worries on either count.
