"I DIDN'T GET ANY VALENTINE'S CARDS," pouted the Kooks singer Luke Pritchard on Tuesday night, surveying a crowd heavy on screaming young girls, two of whom were holding heart-shaped helium balloons. Not for the first time, the mop-topped 20-year-old was unconvincing. Cute as a button and skinny as a rake, the former Brits school pupil Pritchard is perfect frontman fodder for today's teenagers.
