TWO ALBUMS in ten months from the second of Jack White's "other" bands, featuring the Kills singer Alison Mosshart, would have been impressive anyway. Factor in the White Stripes frontman's other projects, however, and the mind truly boggles. Between Horehound last year and this successor, White has made time to produce the debut album by his model wife Karen Elson, helm another album by Wanda Jackson, oversee the Stripes documentary Under Great White Northern Lights and run his own Third Man label. Perhaps, most impressively, White and Elson eschew nannies and share all the childcare themselves.
