THREE CRYSTALS, and wearing very offbeat outfits, sat grouped on an American type put-u-up in a huge apartment on New York's fashionable East Side. At 3.30 in the afternoon the girls were going through final rehearsals for a recording session the same night — a session that was due to start around nine and finish when they crawled home with the milk van in the very early hours of the following morning.
