WE WATCHED two of London's larger choirs and remained cold. Mattie Moss Clark, the sister's mama and musical director of the huge Church of God and Christ, conducted the Brixton Seminar Mass Choir through 'Give Him The Glory' and 'Yes I Wanna Testify'. But the spirit only came alive when Twinkle Clark soloed on 'Just When I Needed Him Most' and the kittenish Karen declared that 'We Are Not Ashamed Of The Gospel', watching her mother as though God were being reflected off her sparkling white gown.
