SNEAKER PIMPS originally swept up on a crest of post-Portishead bands. Photos of them always marked them as standard trip-hop — singer Kelli Dayton posing upfront a laKatie Puckrik, while the blokes stood around in the background looking nondescript and glum, clearly itching to get back in the studio and mess around with samples and backbeats.
