Talking Heads: Rock Garden, London

TWO ROCK bands from New York, both conveniently accepted as constituents of the current New Wave, are actually proposing a fresh and promising direction for the music. One is Television, a lean quartet which arrives in Britain later this month; the other is Talking Heads, whose London debut occurred, before the local punk cognoscenti, in a congested Covent Garden cellar on Friday night.
