Amidst rumours that he'll play his Disney set (he doesn't, the vibes aren't right) and that he won't last very long, the audience — including local celebs and a cornucopia of musicians — have come to worship this slight jovial figure whose innovations have captured the minds of funk, jazz and rock musicians alike.
