STONE TEMPLE PILOTS singer Scott Weiland had warned the young, aggressively moshing, object-throwing crowd Saturday on the grounds of the Polish-American Beach Club. "We want your energy, but we don't need your shoes . . . somebody's gonna get hurt," threatening violence if he caught anyone hurling stuff at his band. It turned out that somebody did get hurt - and the Pilots were hardly bystanders.
