Stars Come Out At Night On The Scene

Vicki Wickham, Fabulous, 22 May 1965

THE MUSIC has stopped. The stage lights are dimmed. The screaming fans have gone home. What happens to the pop stars when it's all over for another night? Do they look out their best suit, smarten up a bit, and dine and dance by candlelight with the prettiest dolly bird in town? Or do they slide home quietly to Mum and sit reading the music papers by a roaring fire as Mum dishes up the supper?
