Star Gazing: Bobby Brown: Wembley Arena, London

Paul Lester, Melody Maker, 16 June 1990

BOBBY BROWN may be less obsessively single-minded than Prince (he doesn't write/produce/sing/play every last note on his records), and Michael Jackson surely beats him jewel-encrusted gloves down for sheer megalomaniac world domination free enterprise (BB is probably only a millionaire a dozen times over, the begger), but there's no contest when it comes to the humdrum question of songs, especially if the decidedly mouldy Batman or Bad are anything to groan by.
