Shack: Zilch

Kieron Tyler, unpublished, December 2017

SHACK'S DEBUT album Zilch was originally issued by a label expressly set up to promote the talents of the band's leader Mick Head, the former frontman of and songwriter for Liverpool's Pale Fountains. The force behind getting the Ghetto Record Company off the ground was Dick Leahy, the music business veteran who had worked for Philips Records in the '60s and driven the success of the Pretty Things, Dusty Springfield and the Walker Brothers.
