Sex Pistols: 100 Club, London

Jonh Ingham, Sounds, 5 June 1976

BUT FIRST a few words about support group Dogwatch. At first they sounded exactly like It's A Beautiful Day circa 1968, but this rapidly gave way to the worst of Cockney Rebel, Roxy Music and Sparks. The bass player looked like he'd just staggered down from his squat opposite the Roundhouse while the singer had nipped over as soon as the band had closed. They were from Stratford. They had a lot of fancy equipment. They were awful. Some people will applaud anything.
