Secret Machines: Barfly, London
Keith Cameron, MOJO, February 2005
FOR A BAND that makes very large music, Secret Machines suit small venues. Doubtless, their flipped-wig headcrunch will soon be laying waste to enormodomes. But pop's commercial imperative logically demands that the only time such bright burning young stars ought play a grothole like the Camden Barfly is either at the very start or the bitter end of their great adventure.
