Rock Festivals: Sometimes You Can Even Hear The Music

"EVERYONE'S SAYING the music's for free" — that's the line from a recent rock album by singer David Crosby. But there have been signs that rock music can be expensive, too — not only in terms of tickets, but also in the toll of deaths, destruction of property, drug abuse and general misery that seems to accompany today's rock festivals. The mass youth gatherings that were once so refreshing, like an unexpected sea cruise, ore going down likes the Andrea Dorea.
