YOU CAN UNDERSTAND why Robert Cray felt uncomfortable about the stir he created among blues fans two years ago. The arrival of an accomplished young black singer/guitarist like Cray (who performs at the Lingerie on Saturday and the Belly Up in Solano Beach on Sunday) was a godsend for blues lovers accustomed to older black veterans or earnest white revivalists.
